Retro Ads

The thing that impressed me the most on my trip to the Washington County Trolley Museum a few weeks ago was not the trolleys themselves. I was more amused by the replica ads hanging insiode them.

This one really brought back memories to this child of "The Cold War!"



"The world is closing in
And did you ever think
That we could be so close
Like brothers?"


Then there was this WW II era ad...



Of course, there were some non-political ads as well...



I don't know about you, but I'm craving a reuben sandwich now!

But even the product ads from the WW II era had a bit of political flavor...
